Les Corts – Barcelona: a quiet area with a lot to offer

This area of Barcelona may not be the first one that comes up when looking for places to visit in the Mediterranean sun-and-sea city. It hasn’t got the historical attractions, small and quaint bars, crowded Ramblas and paella restaurants either, but that’s precisely what makes it perfect for renting a long-term flat in Barcelona; you can settle there without feeling you’re in the middle of a touristic madness. Living in Les Corts is comfortable, as it’s one of the less populated (and definitely higher class) neighbourhoods in the city, its connections with the centre of town are fantastic, and safety is ensured; it makes a great family and working life. Les Corts is the heart of football in Barcelona, with stores and an atmosphere that belongs to supporters of all teams gathering around the place to have a drink before the game. Police control corners and accesses, so it never gets chaotic, and fun is on top of everything; it is something to witness!
